Performance & Custom American Motorcycles is a
Southern Maryland locally owned sales, service, parts and accessories
dealer for American Ironhorse, KTM, Husqvarna, Swift, United Motor Motorcylces,
Arctic Cat and Xtreme Motor as well as custom motorcycles, choppers,
motor scooters, off road dirt bikes and ATVs. We have been manufacturing,
building, trading, selling and servicing motorcycles, scooters and bikes
since 1997.
About Us

Our owner, Wayne Hicks, a widely
known custom American v-twin motorcycle engine builder specialist,
has been in the industry for 20 plus years. He began in a rented
garage where he custom fabricated custom Harleys, high performance
dirt bikes (which performed at Madison Square Garden in New York)
and V-Twin motors for other builders. He was the second builder
to convert the 883 Harley Sportster Engine (the first aluminum
engine) to an upgraded 1200 CC engine. He has had his bikes to
grace the cover of American Ironhorse Magazine not once but seven
times. His bikes have been seen on Speed Vision on the Speed TV
channel. In 1999 he had his first retail store in New Market Plaza
MD and moved to his new location in 2001.
We service the Washington DC and suburban Maryland areas with
custom manufactured Harley, V-twin, ATV, motocross, super moto
street and competition engines, quality products and workmanship
as well as feature the aforementioned manufacturers of quality
bikes, gear and accessories.
